Here is a couple of pictures of my cousin wearing the finished Piano Hat.
When I was writing this pattern, I had my cousin, Nikita, in mind. He plays the piano extremely well, and I love knitting so much that I want to share it with everyone! I thought of this pattern while I was thinking about different designs to use in a fair isle technique.
This particular idea came to me when I was thinking of people to knit for. When I thought of Nikita, I immediately thought of the piano. A piano keyboard is a fairly easy pattern to knit in the round, so I decided to try writing a pattern.
Soon enough, I was knitting Nikita's Piano Hat! I think it was a success and I hope everyone enjoys it!

oh my gosh. I LOVE that beanie!!! I want one!!! :)
What length of a cord on the needles did you use with the size nine round needles? Also, do you know what brand of yarn you used? If you see this, Lindsay, could you please reply? I am going to knit this hat very soon.
Thank you!
